Lina Nasra of Paterson, NJ, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, fell asleep in the Lord suddenly and peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 57. On January 5, 1964, Lina was born in Lattakia, Syria, to Malakeh Balonze Nasra and the late Joseph Nasra. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1974 at age ten and resided in Paterson, NJ. Lina loved the diversity and the hustle and bustle of growing up in Paterson, where she attended public grammar school and high school. Soon after she graduated, she embarked on a career in hairdressing and was the long-time proprietor of John Pierre's Hair Salon. She then transitioned to telecommunications, and for the two decades, has been the proprietor of Boost Mobile in Orange, NJ. Lina made many friends in her line of work. She had a strong work ethic and always greeted her customers warmly and treated them with respect. Her work ethic was unparalleled, as was her dedication to her family.

Lina is survived by many people who love her and will cherish her memory. Besides her devoted mother, Malakeh Nasra, she is survived by her loving brother, Ramsy Nasra, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Zachary, Rachel, Haley, and Jacob, all of Oak Ridge, NJ. She is also survived by her uncles and aunts, George Balonze of Totowa, John & Mary Balonze of Elmwood Park, Albert & Elaine Balonze of Clifton, Samira & Botros Astiphan of Paterson. She is also survived by many cousins and friends who will miss her terribly. Lina was predeceased by her brother John Nasra, her father Joseph Nasra, and several aunts and uncles.
