Obituary of Assunta "Susie" Arena

Assunta "Susie" Arena, 90, of Riverdale, formerly of Florida, passed away on December 27, 2021.  Assunta was born in Sicily, Italy on December 15, 1931 to the late Filippo and Isabella (Patti) Gagliano. In America, she worked for many years as a seamstress, retiring after 40 years working at H&D Sportswear in Woodland Park.

Assunta is survived by her son Philip Arena, her grandchildren Amy, Dale and Jenna and her great grandchildren Nathan and Andrew. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Salvatore, her son Vincent Arena, her sister Margherita D'Anna and her brother Antonino Gagliano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

All services were private at her own request. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Florida.
