Obituary of Luz Camacho

Luz Camacho, 75, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 6, 2022. She was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico on June 26, 1946 to the late Antonio and Virginia (Melendez) Camacho. Before retiring, Luz worked as a lunch lady at the Dell Avenue School in Paterson. 

Luz was the beloved wife of Victor Rivera; she was the treasured mother of Marilyn Cruz, Noel Madera and his fiance Mirna Ortiz, Noemi Madera and Ana Mateo and her husband Miguel; and she was the adored grandmother to 14 grandchildren.  She was also the dear sister of George Camacho.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. The funeral service will be offered on Thursay, January 13th, 2022 at 11:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive after 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
