Obituary of Ruth Tortora

Ruth Tortora (nee Meyer), of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully at home with her family on January 8, 2022 days shy of her 80th birthday. She was born in the Catskills, NY to the late Alfred C. and Ruth (Bontemps) Meyer. Ruth was currently working as a receptionist at her daughter's dog grooming Salon, Cheryl's Pet Salon, in North Haledon. 

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Frank J. Totora. She was the adored mother of Cheryl Burrafato and her hsuband Angelo and Frank Tortora and his wife Kim and the treasured grandmother of Jeremy Burrafato and Marissa and Frank Tortora. 

A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
