Obituary of William L Stanlick

William L. Stanlick, 83, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 13, 2014. William was born on August 14, 1930 in Wharton, NJ to the late Shortell and Edith (Parkins) Stanlick. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Bill was a foreman at Julius Schmidt Rubber Company in Woodland Park before retiring. He also worked to maintain the municipal building in Woodland Park and was a greeter at Shop Rite in Little Falls for 9 years. He was a member of the West Paterson Seniors where he held the title of Bingo caller and was also a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. Bill was the beloved husband of Edith (Montuori) for 57 years. He was the loving father of Margaret, Sandra and Michael Stanlick and father in law to Sarah Huizing and the adored grandfather of Michael Stanlick, Jr. and Samantha Stanlick all of Woodland Park. Bill was predeceased by 9 brothers and 6 sisters and is survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friend of the family Kandy Britton. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
