Obituary of Carol Hubbard

Carol E. Hubbard, (nee Marchetti), 74, of Woodland Park, passed away on Jan. 16, 2014. Carol was born on July 27, 1939 in Jersey City, NJ to the late James and Marie (Kenny) Marchetti. Carol was the valedictorian at Sacred Heart Academy in Hoboken and was Miss Hoboken in 1958. She was later a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary for the West Paterson Fire Company #3. Before retiring, Carol was a medical transcriptionist at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson. Carol was the cherished mother of Lynn Hubbard, Leslie Hubbard Tristram and her husband Scott, Richard Hubbard and the late Cheryl Diehl. She was the treasured grandmother of Alyssa and Danielle Diehl and Tianna Hubbard. She was the dear sister of James Marchetti and his wife Cathy and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
