Obituary of Frank A Galletta

Frank A. Galletta, 78, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 16, 2014. Frank was born on December 29, 1935 in East Paterson, NJ to the late Nat and Agnes (Proll) Galletta. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army from 1959-1961. Later, Frank was a service manager at Lincoln Mercury at various locations and later drove the West Paterson Senior Citizen Bus. He was also a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed playing cards with his longtime friends from the Boys Club in Woodland Park and fishing and hunting with his sons and grandchildren. Frank was the beloved husband of Myra (Morere) for 52 years. He was the loving father of Frank Galletta and his wife Dana, Lori Pascalli-Martin and her husband Ryan, and Steven Galletta. He was the adored grandfather of Jessica, Jenna and Julianne Pascalli, Jordan DiGiacomo, and Sean and Dean Galletta. He was also the dear brother of William Galletta, Gail Bottigliere, Nat Galletta and the late Jean Sudol and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
