Obituary of Gertrude V Cherubino

Gertrude V. Cherubino, (nee Moran), 73, of Paterson, passed away at home on January 26, 2014. Gertrude was born on March 27, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Gertrude (Keeane) Moran. Gertrude worked as a sales manager at CW Brabender for 33 years before retiring. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Gertrude was the cherished mother of Christopher Cherubino and his fiancé Rae Marie Troyer. She was the dear sister of John Moran and his wife Edith and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
