Obituary of Anthony J. Dicristina

Anthony Joseph Dicristina, Sr., 63, of Parsippany for 40 years, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away on March 9, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 30, 1950 in Paterson to the late Frank and Mary (Kazmierczak) Dicristina. He served as a Medic in the National Guard from 1969-1975. He was also a member of the American Legion Post # 227 in Totowa, the Ridge Runners, and The Boys. He was the owner of Dee's Florist in Woodland Park, NJ. Anthony was the beloved father of Christy Maxfield and her husband Chris, Anthony Joseph Dicristina, Jr. and his wife Meghan, Kathryn Dicristina, and Joshua Dicristina and his girlfriend Karina Carrillo and the adored grandfather of Anabella and Joseph Dicristina. He was the dear brother of Frank Dicristina, Philip Dicristina, and Walter Dicristina and his wife Donna and their sons Walter and Nicholas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ.
