Obituary of Patrick “Pat� Rizzo
Patrick Rizzo, Pat, age 85, of, WEST PATERSON ,entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff.
Mr. Rizzo was born October 8, 1920 at Paterson, NJ the son of the late Salvatore and the late Mary (Caputo) Rizzo.
He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War II .
He was employed by CURTIS WRIGHT Wood Ridge,N.J. as a Machinist.
Mr. Rizzo was a Veteran of the United States Army, WWII, Purple Heart Reciepent, took part in battles of Northern France, Normandy, Ardenes, Rhineland, and Central Europe, he was a charter member of Totowa Elks, member of Franklin Club, Paterson,N.J., he cooked at many events for Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Mr. Rizzo also enjoyed a good card game, rides to the country, and Atlantic City.

Visiting hours will be Friday, August 25th , 2006, from 2-4, & 7-9pm at SANTANGELO FUNERAL HOME, 635 McBRIDE AVE., WEST PATERSON, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday, August 26, 2006 9:30am at OUR LADY OF POMPEII CHURCH, 70 MURRY AVE., Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Pastor Rev. Sal J. Panagia.
Burial will be in LAUREL GROVE CEMETERY, Totowa on Saturday at 10:30 am.
Memorials may be made to Msgr. Romano Retreat House, 82 Pleasant Hill Rd., Chester, N.J., 07930, in his memory.
