Obituary of Vernon A Ferrazano

Vernon A. Ferrazano, age 83, of Wayne, passed away on September 23, 2012. Vernon was born in Paterson to the late Clara and Thomas. He proudly served his country as a member of US Army during the Korean War. He was a mill worker for many years at Bright Star Battery Co. in Clifton and at Singer Kearfott in Little Falls. Vernon was predeceased by his wife Grace (D'Angelo). He is the beloved husband of Elaine (nee Kamm). He was the treasured father of Ray Ferrazano and his wife Angela and Joanne Culleny and her husband Daniel and step father to Laurie Bensi and Walter Sacharow and his wife Maria. He was the adored grandfather of Kelly and Brianna, stepgrandfather of Walter Thomas and Nicolas and great grandfather of Charlotte and Logan. He was the dear brother of Charles, Thomas and Stephen Ammacher, Vicki Langdok, Elizabeth Kopec, and Doris Maxfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Vernon lived a long and happy life and all who came to know him, loved him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
