Obituary of Edward F. Lawler

Edward F. Lawler, age 80, West Paterson, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the N.J. Firemans Home, Boonton. Mr. Lawler was born August 2, 1926 in WEST PATERSON, NJ the son of the late Thomas and the late Marguerite (Connor) Lawler. He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 during World War II . He was employed by Instrument Specialities West Paterson, NJ as a Dye Setter. Mr. Lawler was a member of Passaic Valley Hose Co. #2, West Paterson, N.J. Exempt Firemans Assoiation, West Paterson Relief Assoiation, Veteran of WWII Navy Seebees, and parishioner of St. Bonaveture RC Church, Paterson. He is survived by longtime companion Messina Costa and her extended family, two nephews, Tom and his wife Bernadette, and Jim and his wife Camille, and many nieces, nephews, and grand nephews and grand nieces. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 13, from 2-4, & 7-9pm at SANTANGELO FUNERAL HOME, 635 McBRIDE AVE., WEST PATERSON, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday, December 14, 9:00am at ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH, 174 RAMSEY STREET, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Pastor Fr. Danniel P. Grigassy OFM. Burial will be in HOLY SEPULCHRE CEMETERY, TOTOWA on Thursday at 10:00 am.
