Gramps, words cannot describe how much I miss you already. You have been there for me all my life. The times you visited me in the hospital when I was a kid, helped my parents teach me to drive, and were there for me as I was there for you. I’ll never forget the 10 years we spent together from 1996 through 2006 when I stayed with you in your home as I was finishing up college and then started my career in the working world.
You taught me so many things in life and instilled good values in me. Even when you were ill and couldn’t go out as much you always had a sound mind and we would always have incredible conversations. I’m so happy you were able to make it up to see my new house the day after I closed.
Gramps, I love you very much and will never forget you.
Say hello to Grandma for me and someday we will all meet again.
