Aunt Rosie! What can I say. You were one of a kind. Loved spending my summers as a kid with you guys. I never got to hear such colorful language at home! Putting me to work at the tender age of 5 and introducing me to french fries with brown gravy and BLT's at 1 am. Couldn't have asked for a better summer, every year! I will miss you and your always have a good time attitude. You and Mary couldn't have been more opposite and more alike, both so kind hearted. She'll be so glad to see you.
Love you.

Hey Rosie,
I miss you already. You were the first person to give me a job... it is still the BEST job I ever had. You taught to always place the customer's money ON the register not IN it, and then to make change. Working at Carvel in our 'whites' wasn't really work - it was just a great time. I will always remember closing up and then going to have coffee and waffles at my parents' house. You were a mom to all of us. I feel very privileged to have had so many phone conversations with you over the years... you always had that great attitude and even greater laugh... it won't be forgotten... Love ya. Patrina

I will always remember Rose as a loud, happy, outspoken lady who loved to make others laugh. She was outrageous!! My son remembers her as his "ice cream lady". I remember her as generous and positive. She had a resilience and zest for life. My family will miss her. Our prayers are with all of you.

Too many memories. Carvel, Chicken pox, Michigan Rummy, Good Cooking, Always Making a Joke, Curse Words, Nose Wiggle at Traffic Light, Feeding Lucky our food from the table, Keeping in close touch all the time, Lotto, Bingo and AC. Letting me know how much she missed her sister in every phone call.
So sorry to not have been there at her last moments. Will always be thinking about you Aunt Ro. Oh, and when she was single, travelled long distance to come visit in Staten Island bringing me Hershey Kisses every time. I wish I kept my first doll my godmother gave me.

I will remember your Mom calling up at Blue Realty, looking for her daughter JoAnne...'Just tell her when she gets in that her MOTHER called her' - she was always pleasant, got to know her voice and would chat from time to time.

Rosie was the only person I knew who kept every Christmas picture of my kids on her fridge!! What a great old broad! Loved her like she was my own mom. I'll miss her beautiful, sparkling blue eyes! I know she was proud of her family - especially her beautiful grandkids! She will be missed. Love you Rose!

I think back to growing up in West Paterson, all of our family, holiday celebrations, picnics, birthday parties, you were always there. March was a month with several birthdays, including yours and mine. This year we spoke of getting together to celebrate and planned on sharing some cannoli's. We missed our chance, but we will meet again. I love you and will miss you, Rose.

"Hi, it's cousin Rosie". I loved to pick up the phone and hear that. No matter what happened to her, never once did she complain. She always had a smile on her face and she took everything as it came with a grain of salt. I'll miss you, Rosie!!!

Rose, we'll miss you as we have so many fond memories. Spending time behind the counter was a blast and you were so great to our kids. We had many laughs and even shared a birthdate. We're glad we saw you last weekend, but sorry we won't be able to see you this weekend. Until we meet again.
