Obituary of Ralph C. Spagnuola

Ralph C. Spagnuola, age 57, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Paterson, after a brief battle with cancer, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Hackensack Medical Center, Hackensack. Mr. Spagnuola was born January 17, 1950 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Ralph and the late Mary (Valenti) Spagnola. He married Nadine Semaskewich October 19, 1980, at St. Johns Russian Orthodox Church, Little Falls, NJ. He was employed by LOCAL 483 Ironworkers Hackensack, NJ as an Ironworker for 34 years, where he retired as President of the Union. Mr. Spagnuola was a member of Riverside Veterans Inc., Hawthorne, NJ, and current Road Inspector for Passaic County Department of Operations. Devoted husband of Nadine (nee Semaskewich). Beloved father of Dr. Christopher Spagnuola and wife Vanessa, Ralph Spagnuola Jr., and Michael Spagnuola. Cherished grandfather of Jack, Connor, and Braiden. Loving brother of Frank and wife Donna, Marlene Ponte and husband Joe, and Madelyn Spagnola. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, April 13, 2007, from 2-4, & 7-9pm, at Santangelo Funeral Home 635 Mc Bride ave., West Paterson, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday 9:00am at ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH, 174 RAMSEY STREET, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in HOLY SEPULCHRE CEMETERY, TOTOWA on Saturday at 10:00 am.
