Obituary of Joseph Yasenchock
Yasenchock - Joseph, age 85, of WAYNE, formerly of Paterson, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at St.Josephs Hospital, Paterson. Mr. Yasenchock was born September 23, 1921 in Marion Heights, PA the son of the late John and the late Eva (Stelma) Yasenchock.
He served in the Army from 1940 to 1945 during World War II, where he received 4 Bronze Stars in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was employed by Grand Union, Elmwood Park, NJ as a Master Carpenter. Mr. Yasenchock was a member of Free Masons serving as Master in 1968 at the Passaic Lodge #67, the Shriners, the Tall Cedars, American Legion, and Veteran of Foreign Wars. Devoted husband of the late Thelma (nee Mowery). Beloved father of Jo Ann Sallo and husband Jim, Kathy Cipoletti and husband Jack, and JoDee Roach and husband Charles. Cherished grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of four. Loving brother of Anna Bondy, and Helen Daniels. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
