Obituary of Joseph J. Behring

Joseph J. Behring, age 83, of Paterson, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital, Paterson. Mr. Behring was born November 10, 1923 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and the late Catherine (Reilly) Behring. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 during World War II. He was a self employed as a Carpet Installer. Mr. Behring was a member of VFW Post # 2640, and the American Legion both in Wallington. He is survived by three sisters; Agnes Berringer, Virginia Campagna and her husband Robert, Rose Meyers. Joseph was also survived by many nieces an nephews. Viewing hours will be Friday, August 24, 2007, from 7pm - 9pm, at the Santangelo Funeral Home 635 Mc Bride Ave. West Paterson, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday 9:00am at ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH, 174 RAMSEY STREET, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The final disposition will be held in private.
