Obituary of Ann Diodato

Ann Diodato (nee Anderson), age 78, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, passed away on August 16, 2012 surrounded by her family. Ann was born in Paterson to the late Robert and Ann Anderson. Ann was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson and was also a member of the Pompeii Seniors. She was also a member of the senior community at Edward Sisco Village in Wayne. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Edward Diodato. She was the adored mother of Roxanne Aughey and Derrick Diodato and his wife Lisa. She was the treasured grandmother of Shawn Aughey and his wife Katie and Brittney and Eddie Diodato and the great grandmother of Summer and Trace Aughey. Ann was the dear sister of Robert, Joseph, and Derrick Anderson and sister-in-law of Willamina, Florence, and Jo-Sandra Anderson, Andrea Frade, Philip and Jennie Diodato, Marie Diodato, and the late Joseph, Vincent, Bert, and Frank Diodato. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
