Obituary of Margaret E. Patterson

PATTERSON- Margaret E., age 81, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Paterson , died Saturday, December 15, 2007 . Mrs. Patterson was born in Paterson , NJ the daughter of John and Margaret (Mc Keown) Higgins. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital Passaic, NJ as a Registered Nurse, and was a life long parishioner at St. Bonaventure RC Church Paterson, NJ. Devoted wife of the late John R. Pitts. Beloved mother of Susan M Patterson, Patricia Fitzpatrick and husband Raymond, John R. Patterson Jr., and James Patterson and wife Eileen. Cherished grandmother of Ryan John Fitzpatrick. Loving sister of Marie Carroll and her late husband Edmund, Regina Jean Trommelen and husband John, Joseph Higgins and wife Gina, and the late Kathleen Kearns, and the late Charles Higgins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 , from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 Mc Bride Ave. West Paterson , NJ . The funeral mass will be Thursday 9:30am at ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH, Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
