Obituary of Richard Diaz

Richard J. Diaz, age 62, of Paterson, passed away on November 5, 2012. Richard was born in Englewood, NJ on June 2, 1950 to the late Manuel and Agnes Diaz. He previously worked for Alvino Paving Company and enjoyed being a self-employed DJ.

He was the beloved husband of Sherelyn "Sherry" (nee Bridges). He was the treasured father of Christa Babcock, Lisa Milligan and her husband Quizzardo, Tanya Burek and her husband Andrew, Richard Baxter, and Desiree Diaz-Bridges and the adored grandfather of Amanda and Christopher Babcock, Alicia Diaz, Emma Milligan, Drew Makenzie, and Anastacia Piereschi. He is also survived by his sister Gina Mehr and her husband Raymond.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, from 2:00-4:00pm. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
