Obituary of Claire Harraka

HARRAKA, Claire (nee DiStaso), age 68, of West Paterson died Thursday, December 27, 2007. Mrs. Harraka was born in West Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Louis and Cecilia (Williamson) DiStaso. She worked as a crossing guard for the Borough of West Paterson and was also a lunch mother at Beatrice Gilmore School in West Paterson, NJ. Mrs. Harraka was also a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson, NJ. Devoted wife to Joseph Harraka. Beloved mother to Joseph L. Harraka, Barbara Gorski and her husband Mark. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Megan Gorski. Survived by her sister Linda Florian and brother in law Rich. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ. The funeral mass will be Monday, 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
