Obituary of Roy E. Babcock, III

Babcock, Roy E. III, age 68, of Florida, formerly of West Paterson, died on July 15, 2008. He was born in Paterson and lived in West Paterson before moving to Clearwater, Florida. He worked for Triple A Transport, South Carolina. He was a member of the Nights of Columbus and the American Legion in Florida. He was also a member of the 3rd Degree Council 3580, Clearwater, FL and the 4th Degree 1448, Largo, FL. He was a member of the Special Police for 22 years in West Paterson, NJ. He was a parishioner at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Paterson. Cherished husband to Barbara. Loving father to his daughter Coleen Cardinale and her husband Joseph and his son Roy. Beloved step father to Mathew Sarnelli, Diane Boyle and her husband Thomas, Bonnie Galorenzo and her husband Matthew, and Marie Rege. Dear grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, 2-4 and 79 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 9:30 am at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
