Obituary of Calogero "Charlie" Gambino

Calogero Charlie Gambino, age 78, of West Paterson, died on July 22, 2008. He was born in Sicily, Italy to the late Pietro Gambino and Marianna (nee Anile). He worked in machine maintenance all his life. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Cherished husband to Anna (nee Villaraut). Beloved father to Anna Maria Cusumano and her husband Leonardo, Sr. and Paula Gambino. Loving grandfather to Leonardo, Jr., Steven, and Michael Cusumano. Treasured brother to Christopher Gambino, Rosario Gambino, and Angela Zanini of Milano, Italy. He was predeceased by his brother Pietro Gambino. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 and 79 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be held Monday, 9:30 am at Our Lady of Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
