Obituary of Gino Agosta

Gino Agosta, age 77, of Fairlawn, died on July 24, 2008. He was born in Pozzallo, Sicily, Italy to the late Carmelo and Rosalia (nee Buscema) Agosta. He was a parishioner at St. Anne Church, Fair Lawn. He was a member of the Roma Italian Club, Paterson. He had a successful career as an architectural draftsman who helped design the World Trade Center, the Pan Am Building, the City Corp building, and the Helmsley luxury hotels. Cherished husband to the late Margaret. Beloved father to John Agosta, Michael Agosta and his wife Priscilla, and Gina Agosta. Treasured grandfather to Kristen, Joseph, and Anthony Zachares and John, Matthew, Catherine and Michael Agosta. Survived by brother John Agosta and sister Giovanna Melilli. Predeceased by brother Joseph. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, 2-4 and 79 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Anne Church, Fair Lawn. Guests may gather at funeral home at 8:30 am to join procession. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
