Obituary of Salvatore Bordonaro

Salvatore Bordonaro, age 90, of Hartford, Connecticut, formerly of Little Falls, died July 30, 2008. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II. He owned and operated Martinizing Dry Cleaners, Passaic, NJ. In his free time, he was an avid golfer. He was a member and former president of Salorino Italian American Club, Paterson. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church, Totowa.Cherished husband to the late Concetta (nee Occhipinti). Beloved father to Joseph and his wife Sharon and John and his wife Jacqueline. Loving grandfather to the late Thomas, Lori, Kristen, Alisa, Julie, James, Alex, Laura and five great grandchildren. Dear brother to Ida Carruba and Paul Bordonaro and sister in law Audrey Fiorillo. Predeceased by sisters Carmela Boscarino, Sarah Letizia, Rose Pasquariello and brothers Joseph Bordonaro and Nunzio Bordonaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 and 79 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral mass will be held Monday, 10:00 am at United Methodist Church, Totowa.Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
