Obituary of Maria Michunovich

Maria, Michunovich (nee Sckaric), age 88, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Pateron, died August 1, 2008. She was born in Croatia and later spent 40 years in Paterson before moving to Pompton Lakes. She was a sleeve setter and worked at High Fashion in Paterson for 14 years before retiring in 1982. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson and was a member of the St. Bonaventure Seniors. She was also a member of ILGWU Local 134, Paterson. She was a member of the TriBoro Nutrition Center Seniors, West Paterson. She was also a member of AARP. Beloved wife to the late Petar. Cherished mother to Stanley and his wife Mary. Dear grandmother to Peter and Alexis. Predeceased by one brother and 6 sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-4 and 79 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, 9:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson in her honor. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
