Obituary of Roland J. Minogue

Roland J. Minogue, age 81, of West Paterson, passed away October 29, 2008. He proudly served his country as a member of the Merchant Marines and the United States Army defending the United States in World War II and the Korean War. He worked in management for NJ Bell Telephone and had perfect attendance for 33 yrs. He was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 238, West Paterson. Devoted and loving husband to Dorothy Minogue. Beloved father to Colleen Shearn, Thomas, Roland Jr., and Erin. Treasured grandfather to Casey, Samantha, Matthew, Julianna, John and great great-granddaughter Amanda. He is also survived by sisters Jean and Joan and brother Robert. Predeceased by 10 other siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ 07424. Guests may arrive at Santangelo Funeral Homeon Monday at8:00 amto proceed to thefuneral masswhich willbegin at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
