Beautiful Angels Two little girls, laying, unmovable, Silent and still, yet simply beautiful. The gift of life pulled away far too soon, Now two precious angels fly up toward the moon. Beautiful babies, beautiful girls, Should grow up in pink, with dolls and with curls. Instead they lie still, with eyes closed forever, Never to open, never to get better. A joyous time in life for most to share, Now becomes filled with greatest despair. The visit of a lifetime turned into hell, As the hospital room hears no babies yell. A love so great for something so small, A time to fly becomes a time to fall. Hearts are breaking as these little ones lay, All the family can do is cry and pray. The silence takes over, a room filled in shock, A family cries, with no babies to rock. These infants lie dormant, Is this really fate? Two beautiful angels just reached heavens gate. ~ Aunt Melanie
