Obituary of Josephine M Pignato

Josephine M. Pignato (nee Allegrino), age 99, of Toms River, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away on August 19, 2012. Josephine was born in Paterson to the late Dominic and Maria Allegrino. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson where she was also a member of the Seniors' group. Josephine was a nurses' aid at North Jersey Training School before retiring many years ago. Josephine was the beloved wife of the late John Pignato, the adored mother of Joseph Romeo and his wife Virginia and Beverly Wade and her husband Thomas and the treasured grandmother of Thomas J. Wade, II and Ashley Wade. Josephine was the dear sister of Ann Miloscia, Tony Allegrino and Dominic Allegrino and his wife Phylis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
