Obituary of Paul J. Konzelmann

Paul J. Konzelmann, II, age 62, of West Paterson, passed away November 23, 2008. He was born in Paterson to the late Paul and Maria (nee Sellarole) Konzelmann. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he attained his Bachelor of Science and MBA and he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Delaware Law School. He practiced law in New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania, and he served as Borough Attorney, Prosecutor and Judge for West Paterson. He was a licensed US Coast Guard Captain and he was active in local politics in both New Jersey and Florida. He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church, Clifton, New Jersey, and St. Andrew's Church, Boca Raton, Florida. Paul was also well known for his love of family in particular his parents Paul and Maria and his sons Joseph, Mark and Andrew, who were his greatest joy. His deep voice and commanding presence will be missed at family gatherings as well as at the boy's baseball and hockey games. He is also survived by brother Jack and his wife Nancy and brother Jim and his wife Susan as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held on Friday from 7-9 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, West Paterson, NJ. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, 10:00 am, at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ. Cremation will be private by request of the family.
