Obituary of Maria Angelica Ahumada

Maria Angelica Ahumada , age 82, of Paterson, passed away on December 26, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born in Pacasmayo, Peru to the late Pacifico Ahumada and Ricardina Linares. In addition to her role as a loving homemaker, Maria Angelica was an employee for the Central Post Office in Lima, Peru. Maria Angelica was predeceased by her husbands Julian Asurza and Victor Manuel Avendano. She was the treasured mother of Victor and Julian Asurza, and Manuel, Maria, Ada, Victor and the late Maria Angelica Avendano. She was the adored grandmother of Angelica and Ricardo Avendano and 11 more grandchildren in Peru and the USA. She was the great grandmother of 4 great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Pedro Valera, Raul, Luz Marina, Olga, Miguel and Julio Ahumada and the late Azucena Ahumada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A service will be held during visitation. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
