Obituary of Anthony "Louie" Villani

Anthony "Louie" Villani, age 66, of Woodland Park, passed away at his home on December 27, 2012. He was born in Paterson to the late Michael and Angelina (nee Tiscia) Villani. He worked as a landscaper for Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Anthony is the dear brother of Angelo Villani, Celeste Zavataro, Carmela Statto, Marie DiFloria, Rosalie Puccio, Tommy Villani, Michael Villani, Catherine Patti and the late Philomena Pattaco. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Anthony was given the nickname "Louie" because of his resemblance to Lou Costello. He will always be remembered as a kind man who was always smiling. Visiting will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
