Obituary of Irene J. Lijoi

LIJOI, Irene J. (nee Perugini), age 80, of West Paterson, passed away February 2, 2009. She was born in West Paterson and remained a life time resident of the town. She was a dedicated teacher at Memorial School in West Paterson. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Beloved wife to the late Arnold Lijoi. Treasured mother to Jay and his wife Laura, Daniel and his wife Rose, and Sean and his wife Christina. Loved grandmother to Irene, Erin, Ian, Elyse, Arnold, and Thomas. Predeceased by siblings Elizabeth Beauchamp, Alfred Perugini, Della Boyle, and Laura Tasso. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral mass will be Wednesday, 9:30am at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 465 Main Street, Little Falls. Guests may arrive at funeral home at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
