Obituary of David Huizing

David Huizing, age 86, of Prospect Park, passed away March 30, 2009. He proudly defended his country as a member of the United States Navy during WWII. He worked as a machinist for Curtiss Wright and a news distributor for Passaic County News before retiring. Beloved husband to Betty Huizing (nee Maria). Cherished father to Elaine Murdock and her late husband Ron, Susan Korth and her husband Edward G., and David Huizing, Jr. and his wife Mary Kate. Loving grandfather to his 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30am. Guests may arrive at 9:30am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to the family to be used according to their wishes.
