Obituary of Alphonse L. Cennamano

Alphonse L. Cennamano, age 80, of Wayne, passed away April 8, 2009. He was the former Deputy Chief of the Paterson Police Department and member of the Paterson PBA. Known as "Nails", he served over 40 years in Paterson law enforcement. Beloved father to Donna Cennamano Sciacca and her husband Salvatore of Chicago, IL. Cherished grandfather to his grandson Vittorio Sciacca. He is also survived by his sister Lee Ferrante, niece Rene Ferrante, and nephew Louis Ferrante. Visiting will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at funeral home at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
