Memories are from way back when Doug was friends with my brother Mike Barnick. I met him several times when he came to our home and was always taken in by his amazing smile. The boys had some times together but it was his very bright smile that impressed me.

Rest in peace my friend.I will always remember your great laugh and great smaile.I'll remember the marathon basketball, wiffle ball and Hockey games we used to play and the "razzing" that we would give each other when that person won. Thanks for being a part of my life growing up from age 12. As a friend you were one of a kind and as a man you were one of the kindest. My condolences to Debbie and your family may they find comfort in the happy memories that you left for all.I hope one day to see you again and we can have a marathon wiffle ball game I'll choose you for last licks.
Your friend,
Mike

Dougie-We were so fortunate to have you as a friend & neighbor. I am going to miss hanging out playing horseshoes, watching football games and talking with you everyday. Everytime I heard Frankie bark I knew that it was probably you walking the dogs. You were taken away from us way to early but without a doubt you will live on. Miss you brother!!

I first met Doug in 2002 as a customer and we became friends shortly after. We were both avid Devils fans so our bond continued. I'll miss Doug yelling out my last name when I would call..he would drag it out like this......Kruuuuuuuusch. We always had a laugh when he did that. I'm glad I had these past 7 years being his friend. He'll be missed !
