Obituary of Francesco Tundo

Francesco Tundo, age 76, of Woodland Park, formerly of Paterson, passed away June 5, 2009. He was born in Galatone, Italy to Rocco and AnnaMaria Tundo. He worked as a textile worker, most recently at Rainbow Dying and Finishing in Fairlawn. He was also a member of the Local Union # 1733. He was the former president of the Social Club of St. Rocco, Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony, Paterson. Cherished husband to Giulia (nee Soranno). Beloved father and role model to Rocco and his wife Aura, Ralph and his wife AnnaMaria, Annarita Solis and her husband Abel, Claudio and his wife Tina and Sergio and his wife Lisa. Loved grandfather to Michelle, Franco, Roseanna, Anthony, Pennyanne, Frankie, Sergio, Jr., Nicholas, Gabriella, Matthew, Christopher, Rocco, and Christiano. He is also survived by Sebastiano, Romilda, Antonio, Carmella, Armando, Agatha, and Aldo Tundo all in Italy as well as many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters in law, and cousins. Visiting will be Monday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, 9:00am at St. Anthony Church, Paterson. Guests may arrive at funeral home at 8:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
