Obituary of Miriam Prohaska

Miriam Prohaska (nee Macchio), age 89, of Woodland Park, passed away September 11, 2009. She was a loving homemaker to her children and grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Prohaska. Loved mother to Helene Webb and her husband Tom of Woodland Park and Karen VonGyurcsy and her husband Bob of Ft. Myers, Florida. Cherished grandmother to Nicole and Dan Webb of Woodland Park. Dear aunt to Bob, Camille, and Jennifer Macchio of Milltown, NJ, Greg, Rosa, and Gregory Macchio of Granger, Indiana and Steve, Joanne, Elise and Stephen Macchio of Springfield, VA. She is predeceased by her brother Steve Macchio and his wife Kay. Memorial visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday 9:30am, at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, NY.
