Obituary of Walter Gonzalez

Walter Gonzalez, age 76 of Wayne, formerly of Prospect Park, passed away on December 2, 2009. Walter was born in Cuba along with seven brothers. He worked in grounds maintenance at William Paterson University. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Hilda. His is survived by his daughters, Eliza and Iliana of Cuba and his granddaughter. He is also survived by nieces Maria Gobo and Audrey Zatarian. Visiting will be Friday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave.,Paterson. Guests may arrive to the funeral home at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
