Obituary of Joseph Lewis

Joseph Lewis, age 81, of Woodland Park, passed away December 7, 2009. He was born in Woodland Park to the late Giusseppe and Giovannina Allu and remained a lifelong resident. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Before retiring he was a roofer for Sloan Roofing in Paterson. In his spare time he enjoying hunting and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is predeceased by his siblings, Andrew Allu, Sr., Louis Lewis, Sam Lewis, Mary Baunno, Doris Brescia, and George Lewis. He is survived by nephew and nieces Andy Allu, Jr., Michelle Galaski, Bill Brescia, and Gail Shugart as well as their families. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 9:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
