Aunt Pat,
I will miss you. I will remember you as a wonderful Aunt. Always so helpful to us and it feels so weird now that your gone. Going in that senior home won't be the same. Even looking at you on that bed i couldn't get it through my head that it was you. I love u and will see you again one day. <3 - Your favorite niece Amber :P

Well my darling Poppie/My Peppermint Patty I have so many memories with you. All of them were special. The most special one was when I had Alasia. I was in the hospital waiting to give birth and mommy and terry were there with me and the nurse told them that I wasn't going to give birth for hours so they told me they were going to go home and come back later. I was so scared and thought I was going to be alone and when they opened the door to walk out there you stood I got the biggest smile on my face and I knew from then on I was going to be just fine cause I had my Poppie by my side. You stayed until I gave birth never once left my side not even to smoke a cigarette! I know I yelled a couple times because you weren't fast enough with the cold rag to put on my head but you understood. You paced back and forth in the delivery room and when Terry and mommy returned you stayed right there even though you were nervous but Thank God you did cause mommy ran out cause she was scared and nervous but you and Terry helped with the delivery and out came my baby girl. I love you Poppie with all my heart it hurts so much but I know your not suffering any more. Until we meet again you will forever be in my heart.

It's been a while since I saw you last cause I couldn't handle the fact that you were sick and you mean so much to me, to see you hurt would hurt me, even now I find it hard to say goodbye,so instead I will say "til we meet again"... And the memories I have of you is what my mom tells me of what good care you took of me when I was a baby and how much you loved me, So now I'm letting you know how much I will Love You Forever.... I would like to tell you, my dear sister Pat my favorite memory of you, was when I got the chance to come up here this past July to celebrate your son George's 50th Birthday, because we knew you would be too sick to actually celebrate in December and how brave you were facing your cancer with stride to not let others suffer, and how when it was time for me to leave you insisted on making me something to eat. somehow you must have known that my flight would have a 4 hour layover, that was just the way your were Pat you Always put others first... My favorite childhood memory of you is the Giant "Easter" Basket you bought for me, and that towards the end you still remembered the day you bought it and Where you bought it,,,, I will LOVE YOU, Pat, Forever and Ever and til we meet again!! I also find comfort in knowing that whenever I came to visit you, whether it be the hospital, nursing center or at your home you spared me the knowledge of pain you were in, you always smiled and opened you eyes!!!
