Obituary of Irene Fontana

Irene Fontana (nee Mancuso), of Woodland Park, passed away April 27, 2010. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and children. She also worked part time as a teacher's aide at Charles Olbon School in Woodland Park for over 25 years. She was the treasurer of the American Legion Post # 238 Ladies' Auxiliary in Woodland Park. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dominick Fontana (2008). She is the treasured mother of Patrick and his wife Irene, Frank and his wife Virginia and Richard and his wife Margaret. She was the dear grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave.,Woodland Park , NJ . A funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
