Obituary of Mabel Flanagan

Mabel Flanagan (nee Taite), passed away April 28, 2010 in Waverly, Ohio. She was born in New Jersey and was a life long resident of Paterson before moving to Waverly a few years ago. She proudly served the United States as a member of the Woman's Army Corp from January 1945 through December 1945 during World War II. She earned the American Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. She will always be remembered as being "sweet, quiet, and unassuming". She was predeceased by her late husband Walter Flanagan. She was the loved sister of Edna Malorgio. She was the dear aunt of Joseph Malorgio and his wife Nancy, Kathy Flanagan, Mary Murray and her husband Dennis and their families. Visiting will be Monday from 9am-10am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will immediate follow visitation at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
