Obituary of Mariantonia Mongiardo

Mariantonia Mongiardo (nee Mongiardo), passed away May 26, 2010. She was born in St. Andrea, Italy. She worked in the garment industry as a seamstress. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mongiardo. She was the treasured mother of Anthony and his wife Nina, Nicholas and his wife Victoria, and Dante and his wife Paulette. She was the dear grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Marianna Pirelli, Catherine Mongiardo, and Victoria Varano. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 9:00am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
