Obituary of Cecelia Schaper

Cecelia Jean Schaper, 78, of Brooksville, Florida (Glen Lakes Country Club) passed away June 12, 2010 at Crown Pointe of Spring Hill. Fl. . She was born in Paterson, N. J. and moved to Florida in 1986 from Franklin Lakes, N.J. Cecelia was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Frances Cabrini, Roman Catholic Church. She worked many years as a Comptroller for Cosan Chemical Corp., Matzner Publications, Lindhurst Insurance Co. and Biquette Industries, all located in Northern New Jersey. Cecelia was a member of the Bridge Club and Renaissance Club in Glen Lakes, a 9 Hole Golfer and a Volunteer in the Palm Harbor School System. She is survived by loving husband Jacob and daughter and son-in-law Debra and Tommaso Faiola of Weeki Wachee, FL.. Her Grandchildren, Alan E. Norman, Alissa L. Cooper and her husband Jim are all Florida residents. She is also survived by her eldest brother, Edward Gallo of Woodland Park, N. J., and her sisters and brothers- in- law Rein and Adrianna Schaper, Cathrine and Hugo Pitea, Fredrick and Lenore Schaper, Andrew and Muriel Schaper. Also, her beloved neices and nephews; referenced alphabetically, Jackie Bailey, Robert Bailey and Sharon, Donald Bailey and Terry, Edward Bailey and Nellie, Bernadette Bargiel and Larry, Victor Cornetto, Salvator Cornetto and Janet, Richard Cornetto and Sandra,Thomas Gallo and Nancy, Patricia Lightner and Kevin, Sandra Majors and Kimberly Schaper. All members mostly reside in New Jersey. As per her request, her family mentions her many close cousins and family members; making a special reference to her family in Las Vegas, N.V. : Edward and Bina Portello, Florence and Johnny Laurice, Bonnie and Martin Gross, Edward and Katie Portello, Robyn and Mark Lane, Andrea Portello, and Carmella Farino and family. Visiting hours will be Saturday, July 3rd from 8:00-9:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will follow at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to HPH Hospice of Pasco and Hernando County Florida and St. Francis Cabrini, R.C. Church of Brooksville, Florida in Cecelia's memory.
