Obituary of Wellington Tapia

Wellington Tapia, age 48, of Passaic, passed away on January 21, 2013. Wellington was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Thomas Tapia and Angela Sacom. He was a member of St. Philip's Ministry of the United Methodist Church in Paterson. Wellington was the treasured father of Michael Tapia. He was the dear brother of Maria Tapia, Javier Tapia, Blancy Pacheco, Elizabeth Tapia and Wilson and Iris Valencia. He is the beloved nephew of Flor Sacom, Mariana Baille, and Ennis Baille. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:00am to 12:00pm atSantangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A service will be held during visitation. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
