Obituary of Mary G Kanson

Mary Kanson, age 79, of Paterson, passed away August 11, 2010. She was born in Paterson and was a homemaker for her children and grandchildren in addition to working at Repro Tech in West Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward for over 49 years. She was the treasured mother to John Kanson and his wife Nancy, Rosemary Maringola and her husband Joseph, Anna Cooley and her husband Brian, and David Kanson and his wife Janna. She was the dear grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Carmella Polito and Josephine Lax as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Pasquale, her mother Rose, and her sister Rose Cronk. Greatly missed but will forever remain in the hearts in all who loved and cared for her. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be held Monday 10:15 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
