Obituary of Angelina Maratta

Angelina "Jennie" Maratta (nee Tedeschi), age 92 of Toms River, NJ, formerly of West Paterson, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Sept 6th. Angelina was born in Paterson, NJ on Sept. 11, 1917. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Angelo J. Maratta. Beloved by her three children; daughter Judy Assalone, Angelo & Sandra Maratta and Charles & Andrea Maratta. Adored by her grandchildren Lisa & Phil Kozak, Angelo III & Charlene Maratta, Christopher Maratta & Audra. Also survived by her devoted great-grandchildren, Shane Assalone, Steven DiPaola Jr., Summer & Bailey Maratta and Christopher Maratta Jr. Also pre-deceased by Son-In-Law Pasquale J. Assalone and Grandson Vincent Daniel Assalone. Angelina was a devoted wife of 62 yrs and a wonderful mother. She worked in Two Guys Dept. Store in Totowa, NJ in the 60's and lived in West Paterson until 1998. She will be dearly missed by all. Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Friday 10am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
