Obituary of Helen McGregor

Helen McGregor (nee Ewancik), age 98, of Totowa, passed away on January 30, 2013. She was born in Yonkers to the late Nicholas and Katherine Ewancik. Helen was a bookkeeper for the Long Island Railroad in Jamaica, Queens for many years before retiring. She was the beloved wife of the late James McGregor and the late Al Pagano. She was the adored mother of Don McGregor and his wife Marie and David McGregor and his wife Diane. She was the treasured grandmother of Shaun McGregor and his wife Christine, Kathleen McGregor, Lindsay Denehy, Julia McGregor and Allison McGregor and the great grandmother of Vallen McGregor. She was predeceased by one brother, three sisters, and her grandson Ian McGregor. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9am-10am at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly Little Sisters of the Poor, 140 Shepherds Lane, Totowa. A funeral Mass will follow visitation at 10am. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
