I remember once that Efrain and I were cleaning some tools with gasoline and he wouldn´t stop tossing lit matches at the gasoline filled basin, despite the warnings. A fire ball went out and when Carlos Freita and I looked up, Efrain had burned his eyebrows. We couldn´t stop laughing because there was a mound of sand on the lawn and he tossed himself upon the sand and started rolling away in order to turn the fire out. I never saw a man catch on fire so fast. We all laughed with him after wards. But that was the Efrain I knew. I will never forget him.
